Today Chris and I went to my OB appt. I see three nurse midwives through Valley OBGYN and they are great. The one that I saw today did a swab for strep B I think it was. They'll have those results back next week.
I thought that swab was gonna be bad, but then she checked my dilation! Which was pretty uncomfortable but not as bad as she made it sound. But we were happy to hear that I'm dilated to about a 1.5 and 70-80% effaced! Woo hoo!
Although I know it doesn't necessarily mean things will go faster it is nice to know that my body is progressing. And that the contractions I have had recently are doing something! They haven't been too painful yet so... Even better that they are productive!
