Sandcastle Destruction

5/3/15

We are finally getting better!! It's been a rough road the past couple of weeks. Mae had a pretty bad ear infection that she took 10 days of antibiotic for. She was still pulling at her ears this last weekend so I took her in on Monday. And surprise! She STILL has an ear infection. So we are on stronger antibiotics now unsure emoticon she also developed a rash around her mouth that I wasn't sure what it was so we took her in again on Friday and it just seems to be a skin sensitivity probably due to the infection or medication. So we've been putting some stuff on it and it seems to be healing!
On other news...we are looking at a house in Mesa. It's 3 bd 2 bath and is in a great area. Only hang up is that it is an auction and requires us to put an extra 5% down frown emoticon. We might do a low bid and test our luck...
Chris is done with school now so it's been nice to be able to put him to work a little more. smile emoticon he's working at the MTC for another week (that's all they let him since he's no longer a student). And then we'll be off to sunshiny California!! For 5 days smile emoticon
This weekend we got to nights to ourselves (thanks to Crystal and David and his girlfriend). Friday we did a double with David and played sandcastle destruction (it's now a yearly tradition around our anniversary). Basically, each couple builds a sand castle on one side if a volleyball net. Then you and your date have to try and destroy the other castle by tossing waterballons with a towel (like water balloon volleyball). It was a lot of fun!!

Then yesterday we were able to go to the draper temple with mom, pa, Camille, Grandma, Kathy and Gary. It was a much needed trip for me and a lot of fun to see all those big houses up there too!
